As live implementation of the ASW at the end of 2015 required significant participation by all stakeholders, on November 16, 2015, USAID and ASEAN convened a Symposium in Singapore on the ASEAN Single Window (ASW) and National Single Windows (NSWs) bringing together officials from ASEAN Member States and private sector stakeholders to review the status of the development of the ASW and identify how it can be improved and expanded after it is launched at the end of 2015. 

To prepare the ASEAN Member States (AMS) for the live operation of the ASEAN Single Window (ASW), the USAID-funded ASEAN Connectivity through Trade and Investment (US-ACTI) project organized a workshop on ASW Gateway Operations in Singapore on 16-17 March, 2016.

Viet Nam became the fifth ASEAN Member State to join the ASEAN Single Window live operation. At the opening ceremony of Viet Nam National Single Window Implementation and Technical Connection to ASEAN Single Window in Ha Noi yesterday, Secretary-General of ASEAN H.E. Le Luong Minh said it signifies the country’s commitment to ASEAN’s economic integration and community building process.

In keeping with our commitment towards transparency and accountability, we are posting a list with over 122,000 entries containing almost every importation into the Philippines in May 2014, as well as the weighted average dutiable values for all imports from March to May 2014, broken down by 11-digit HS code and country of origin.

The Bureau of Customs is pleased to publish its list of almost every importation into the Philippines in January 2014. In addition to “consumption” entries as published last month for December 2013, this list now includes what we refer to as “warehousing” and “transshipment” entries. These are imports which are allowed to enter the Philippines without paying duties and taxes, provided they are re-exported from the Philippines within a certain period of time.
